Eva Simpson

Eva Simpson is an undergraduate studying mathematics and linguistics, with plans to minor in creative writing. She primarily writes short fiction but hopes to explore longer works and poetry in the future. Her work often falls within literary fiction and horror, and she is particularly drawn to short fiction by writers such as J.D. Salinger and Joy Williams, along with more experimental prose from authors like James Joyce and William Faulkner. Through the Miller Arts Scholars program, she hopes to become more involved in the arts community at UVA.
