Clark Beach is a composer, cross genre multi-instrumentalist, producer, and actor from Manhattan, NY. Currently, he his majoring in Economics while he makes music and performs with his band across grounds. Clark comes from a plethora of culture and ethnicities ranging from is family being a mix of Latino, Northern African, Southern American, and European heritage to his upbringing in the city. He started playing drums when he was 8-years-old and has been apart of countless bands while acting in multiple musicals, film projects, and plays (Rush, Buddy Rich, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and show toons was his personality). Then when COVID forced him to be in a small apartment with his family of 5, he found out the he needed to find musical alternatives instead of tapping away on his practice pad. So, he got serious about singing, guitar, and piano while he had a lot of free time. Then, he found songwriting and music producing/recording (making a rap song and video when he got his first microphone). Since then he has released multiple songs on Spotify, acted Off-Broadway, performed in competitions and festivals, and rehearsed and networked with professionals like Sam Hollander for songwriting and Wynton Marsalis for Jazz drums. Now that Clark is a Miller Arts Scholar, he plans to connect with others who love their craft just as obsessively as himself and take his music career to the next level by collaborating with other Miller Arts Scholars!
