Caitlyn Helzer is a Psychology Major and Prospective Drama Major at UVA, with a strong focus in Sound. Since their first semester at UVA, they've worked on a daily basis at UVA theaters helping to build the shows and maintain the theater venues. In addition to their technical work Caitlyn is a student sound designer, working on projects such as "As You Like It," the musical for Spring 2025. Coming from high school technical theater to UVA, then working with The Virginia Theater Festival the summer of 2024 Caitlyn is excited to see what will come next! So far, it looks like the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh Scotland and hopefully much more. Caitlyn is incredibly grateful for all the help and support they've received during their time at UVA and is doubly grateful to be able to learn from the many talented artists in the Miller's Arts Program.
